MILWAUKEE MARATHON FAQ/CONTACT
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Event Cancellation
Due to current conditions along the course and surrounding streets, and concerns for safety during today’s packet pickup and tomorrow morning, we have made the difficult choice to cancel this Sunday’s event.
Unfortunately, the circumstances will not allow us to hold an event that meets our standards for a safe and successful race for participants, volunteers, and all other stakeholders. In the upcoming days, we will collaborate with officials to explore all possibilities for 2023 and plan to provide participants with all available options, such as deferral to another event, virtual participation, or a full refund.
Thank you to the Milwaukee running community for your understanding. We will follow up with next steps and more information as soon as possible.

LIVE EVENT FAQs
What steps are you taking to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of participants?
The Milwaukee Marathon holds the safety of our staff, participants, volunteers, and attendees above all else. To ensure our event is as safe as possible, and you are comfortable both on and off the course, we’ll be implementing enhanced safety measures, and will provide a comprehensive list of measures to reference well in advance of event day. Our team continues to work in direct coordination with local public health authorities to meet or exceed all local guidance, rules, and regulations. In the event that we cancel the live event due to COVID-19 or any of its variants (the “Pandemic”) and/or governmental restrictions put in place as a result of or in connection with the Pandemic which make the live race unfeasible or impractical to run, each registrant will have the option of receiving a refund, deferring fees paid to the next year’s race, or applying the fees to entry into a virtual race, where we’ll mail your goodie bag right to your door.
